Accounts Receivable/Account Payable Specialist

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
- Organizing invoices and distributing for manager approval.
- Prepare invoices for payments.
- Enter coding and approved invoices into accounting software.
- Processing checks and arranging them for signatures.
- Process invoices and applying cash to invoices.
- Perform light collections.
- Maintain and reconcile vendor accounts.
- Assist with check runs
- Interact with vendors for any issues/inquiries.
- Provide additional support to accounting team as needed.
Job Title Requirements:
- AA degree or 2-3 years in accounting role preferred.
- Prior accounting software experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel preferred
