Web-Don in Our
Community
Web-Don is more than a company. We’re contributing members of the communities where we have our manufacturing and distribution companies. Not only do we supply jobs, it is our goal to reach deep into the community to give back however we can.
We took a survey of our team members to ask which community organizations were close to their hearts, and designed our “Web-Donate” program around their responses. Employees are given time off each year for service, both in teams and individually. If they are unable to serve, Web-Don will donate the equivalent of their hours off as a donation to their favorite charity.
Web-Donates
Big things are happening this year! Web-Don is celebrating 50 years! That’s a big deal!!! As part of this celebration, we want to have a bigger presence in our communities. How do we do this? We give! Whether it be time, money, whatever the best way – we give. These small acts of kindness can have a major impact on our communities.
We are so excited to announce that as a part of our 50th, we are implementing a new program for employees. Web-Donates! This program will provide a special form of PTO for eligible employees. Each year, Web-Don will provide 8 hours of “Volunteer PTO” that can be taken. Employees can now take a day and donate their time at their local charity / non-profit of choice.
Volunteering time not your thing? You can still participate by donating your Volunteer PTO hours. These hours will be converted into a dollar amount that will be pooled at the end of the calendar year and donated to an organization in your name! We will also begin hosting drives throughout the branches during the year to collect food, clothes, and school supplies. How awesome is that!!!
We hope that each of you will be able to participate in this wonderful community outreach program! We are so happy to begin this new adventure with you!!
